Verify A Moderator Is Active

Why​

Many professional communities need to make sure their mods are actually participating and routinely checking in on the community. This will not only help drive conversation but make sure there aren’t any bad actors getting too comfortable.

However, it’s really hard to know if Mods are actually engaging routinely. Not anymore!

How​

  1. Create a role in your Discord called something like “Required for Mod” (but give no mod permissions to this role).
  2. Give this role to all of your Mods.
  3. For the Mod Role, create a corresponding Role Reward on your Crue dashboard.
  4. Set the price to correspond to how active you want them to be in your community.
  5. ✔️ “Should be Temporary” with the duration set to 7 days.
  6. ✔️ “Restrict Roles” and set the “Required for Mod” role as a “Required Role” for this Reward.

Now people will lose their mod role if they aren’t routinely active in the community.
